My NHD Projects
My National History Day projects were both focused on Holocaust studies, the topic’s relationship to current affairs, and the lessons learned from it. I find that exploring history makes us realize the relevance to modern political and social events not only in America, but internationally.

About National History Day
Every year, National History Day selects a historical theme. The broad theme (such as taking a stand or leadership & legacy in history) must be what you apply your historical topic of choice to. Additionally, apart from relating your subject to the theme, it should have some relevance to current events and changes & continuities throughout history. Conducting NHD projects allow students to critically think and understanding perspectives in history.
“National History Day®(NHD) is a non-profit education organization based in College Park, Maryland. NHD offers year-long academic programs that engage over half a million middle- and high-school students around the world annually in conducting original research on historical topics of interest.”
